The Dead Testaments are a "noir rock" band from Chattanooga Tennessee. They find much of their influence comes from Southern literature, the aesthetic and soul of delta blues, and the sounds of artists like The Velvet Underground, Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave. Spaghetti westerns, surf rock and 60's garage bands also heavily inform their sound.
